FH and I have just started to plan our honeymoon and I'm so excited! We really like the Sandals Grande St. Lucia. Has anyone been there or are planning on going for their honeymoon? THere are so many room catagories and I can't decide which one to book. Is the swim up pool or lagoon rooms worth it? Any help would be great! Thanks!

Re: Sandals Grande St. Lucia
We just booked the Regency Lagoon Room. It looks incrdible and my sister went to St. Lucia for her honeymoon and loved it. Whats great about the Sandals properties is you are able to use all 3 of them.

Re: Sandals Grande St. Lucia
I just got back from there last week... it is very nice.
The swim up rooms and lagoon pool are very far from the main pool. Not sure what you are looking for. If you want a more private pool where you can just relax with FH then go for it.. but if you like the main pool where they have a swim up bar and music and contests and all then I would jsut book the honeymoon suite... I booked the penthouse honeymoon suite and it was alot smaller than I thought it would be...
The food there is really good, we had such a fun time.. but there is no nightlife whatsoever.. unless you count the handful of people that would hang out in the pub...not sure if you are looking for a place to relax and party!
I def liked the grand the best out of the regency and halcyon there..

Re: Sandals Grande St. Lucia
we stayed at the grande and LOVED it! We actually had some room mishaps so we went from our regular penthouse concierge suite (which was lovely) to a swim up room and then to a rondoval. If you want privacy the swim up rooms are great! We liked it a lot and though it is further away from the main pool the walk isnt THAT bad at all so we didnt mind it...kinda gave you the best of both worlds!

Re: Sandals Grande St. Lucia
Thanks for the advice! I think we are going to probably book one of the lagoon rooms as of now. I hear Jet Blue has nonstop air to St. Lucia starting soon so we are also going to look into that.
