sandals resort???/

I am reading many bad reviews on sandals.. we are looking to book for our HM either jamica or st. lucia.. plz tell me any horror stores before i make another mistake :/ has anyone prefer one resort over another? if you dont like sandals any recommendation you have besides sandals?

My sister did St lucia & she hated it. She was so bored & you really cantgo off of the hotel/resort area because it isnt very safe. Thats all i know about that! Also had two friends also went there 1 loved it the other didnt.

I've been to the Sandals Royal Bahamian and it was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend it. We're looking into going to one of the Jamaica resorts at the end of the year, most likely Montego Bay. tripadvisor is definitely a big help.

I use tripadvisor all the time and I even write review too.

If you want a great vacation which wont destroy the bacnk try Costa Rica its beautiful.

A few friends of mine went to Sandals and they said the food wasn't the best but other things were great.

it depends on what you want to do?

there is the beach side then there is the internal where the volcano is, b ut the best time for that is in oct-nov.

We booked the sandals in the bahamas for our honeymoon....We went to the one in the bahamas and only have GREAT things to say about it....the food was fantastic too...service was great and the people were the nicest...but then again, I like to just relax, eat and hang out on my vaca's ....LOL I also heard nice things about the one in Antigua....

BUT I did hear the ones in Jamaica were not the greatest...but thats also because you cannot leave the resort without some sort of guide...

i went to sandals negril right after a hurricane had hit but i have to say we had a great time. bcuz of the hurricane there werent a lot of guests so the staff catered to our every need.
we did need a hotel escort when we left to go shopping in the town. we never left the resort aside for shopping though.
the food was pretty good. i wouldnt say AMAZING but still good.

You can look into SuperClubs Resort. My cousin works for them.

Is Costa Rica expensive. This my top choice for HM. Is there sightseeing. I want the beach and do some sighseeing tours during the day.
