Sandals- St. Lucia

I've never been there myself, but my fiance's sister went there for her honeymoon last fall. She and her husband both liked it a lot. It looks like a really beautiful place! We're considering it for our honeymoon, too - St. Lucia or Hawaii!

That info was very helpful. I feel much better knowing the wedding was downstairs on the other side of DM. We have the "Garden Room" upstairs which of on one end of DM and I was afraid you were in the room beneath it. As far as the staff is concerned not one person will be left out on any course of the meals. I will make sure of that!! If the BQ manager wants a hefty tip he will see that all my guest are well taken care of. I think that's what we all need to do is talk to the BQ manager and express that they need to take special care of our guest (especially older and pregnant guests)and if this warrants a problem see how it can be fixed.

I know Hawaii's going to be expensive, but we both really want to go. My lucky parents won a trip there a couple of years ago and were sooooooo impressed with everything! As for golf, we have no interest in it - I just want to hike around on Kawaii and see the black sand beaches and volcano on the Big Island! But there are so many beautiful places (many of them that would fit much better into our budget) and I know no matter where we go I'll be impressed, though, since I've never been anywhere at all exotic!

i have the same situation...originally she really wanted to wear a tux like the rest of the guys, but after calling many tux places, the all said that they didn't carry women's tuxes for social occasions. luckily she bought a black silk suit (jacket and long skirt) and said she is going to go with the guys and try to get a matching shirt (in a boys size if its just too big) and vest. i basically told her i wanted her to be comfy and she said that she didn't want to look to manish or detract from the rest of the guys... so i think what she chose is a good choice. if you need more advise on this, let me know. good luck and happy planning! -leighann
