If you find out please let me know and vice versa.

I think there was a recent post about this....from what I remember, some brides were saying that the Sandals Grande was more elegant looking, but more money. The other one, I think the Regency???, was where all the buildings are spaced so far apart that you had to take a shuttle everywhere. Something like that!

I've been trying to investigate but still can't figure out the difference! i think one has a golf course and the other doesn't? i'm not sure!!

by the way...amstellitelady...i see you're getting married at Stewart Manor Country club. My sister had her wedding there. FYI - it was one of the best weddings i've ever been to (and i'm not just saying that b/c it was my sister) they really made the place look so beautiful and the food was great. it was so nice! Congrats!!!

Thank you so much for that little insight. I have such a fear that the place won't be good. I've been to to many weddings where the food isn't good or the service is bad. Thank you very much. I will make sure I mention this to my FI. Can I ask u how many people she had? We have 184 on the list right now and I'm afraid of going overboard.

I LOVE THIS BOARD.......EVERYONE IS SO HELPFUL

Danielle and I went to the Sandals Grande St Lucian and it was amazing. I so wish I was sitting by the swim up bar drinking a BBC right now...and soaking in the rays....We loved everything there.....

We upgraded to a concierge room and had our own bar in room, and also tile floor, and room service...It was amazing.

They have no golf course, 4 pools, beach, 5 restaurants, and bars everywhere...The people that work there are really nice and very helpful.

The one thing Danielle and I regret is that we didnt go to the market. We ended up buying all our gifts at the hotel and it costed us a fortune.

Just wait until you taste the rum punch that they give you when you come to check in yummmmmy.

If you have any questions let me know...

Re: SANDALS ST. LUCIA

Thanks Scott! That was very helpful. I've heard a lot of great things about sandals st. lucia...now i just need to convince my FI...he has his heart set on Tahiti...apparently he thinks we're the Rockefellars!!! I heard it's VERY expensive there!

amstellitelady - I'm almost positive my sister had just over 200 people at her wedding at stewart manor. it wasn't too much at all! the tables were comfortably spaced out and the dance floor was GREAT! it was the perfect size. and like i said, it was just so beautiful. i'll try to scan some pictures for you...give me a day or so to work on it!

Re: SANDALS ST. LUCIA

We went to Liberty Travel in Oceanside and our travel Agent gave us a great deal....If you go anywhere, make sure you go all inclusive....Once you go all inclusive you will never want to travel any other way....

I never had to carry any money on me at all...and all tips and gratuities were included, except for the taxi to the resort and back....

My advice if you get car sick...take ginger or dramamine before you get in the bus to the resort or back from the resort...They drive crazy there...and the roads are very swervy and hilly.....

We didnt do any of the excursions....but I hear that they are amazing.....We didnt want to get back into the van until we had to go home....The ride was crazy.....lol....We also didnt goto any of the other Sandals resorts for dinner or anything...you can, its included with the price....We were happy where we were...We stayed at the best resort....and we were content with all the restaurants, and the amenities that the Grande Offered
