That is where we are going too - in two weeks!!!!!
My co-worker went there last year for his honeymoon and RAVED! Could not stop talking about it. In fact, when they went on vacation this year to Atlantis Bahamas, they were actually bummed b/c it was not as good as the Regency

Re: Sandals, St. Lucia
We're going there for our honeymoon in October. We know 3 couples that have gone there for their honeymoons and all of them said it was amazing. We are staying in one of the honeymoon suites with the butler service and 24hr room service. Supposedly the butler service is awesome.

We stayed at the Grande but wished we were at the Regency. There was a lot more going on there. We went one night to the French restaurant.

Re: Sandals, St. Lucia
I just got back last week from my honeymoon in St. Lucia!! We stayed at the Sandals Grande. I loved it!!! We visited the Regency and the Halcyon, but we were happy we chose the Grande. Each hotel has something different about it, so it all depends on what you like.
The Regency has the most restaurants (make your reservations as soon as you get there for the major restaurants: La Toc (French), Kimonos (Japanese), etc..) and is located on a bluff. It is a HUGE resort and you need a shuttle to get you from your room to the main pool and restaurants if you are planning on staying on the bluff. I guess you can walk, but from people we spoke with they said it was pretty far. The Regency has the most night life though. We hung out there one night and had a great time!
The Halcyon is just the opposite and is pretty small. It has 3 restaurants (I think) and is more low key. Still nice though. We went to dinner at The Pier (very good..you need reservations) and Marios (Italian..delicious!).
The Grande where I stayed was fabulous! Everything about it was great! It is located on the Carribean Ocean so the beach was nicer than the other resorts in my opinion....as was the pool. They had all of the water sports at the Grande and we met tons of people who would take the trip to our resort every day to hang out in the pool and do the sports. They had activities going on all day and night...but once it hit around 10:00ish, the place died down somewhat. That is the only down fall. The Regency like I said has a much better night life.
You can't go wrong with any of the Sandals! It was great! You are going to have the most wonderful time!! I have pics of the Grande, and a couple of the Regency & Halcyon. I'll try to post them this weekend sometime.
