I have responded to many posts about my trip to Antigua Sandals. There were major issues that alot of couples had there. The nightclub was always closed, not all restaurants were open, there was no bartenders at times in the piano bar so the guests had to tend bar and many other things. It is also very small. It wound up that alot of couples, including us got a free trip out of it and using it to go to Bahamas Sandals which was alot nicer.

My vote is for Sandals St. Lucia, I just booked it a few weeks ago. I can't wait!

I have heard nothing but raves for Sandals St. Lucia and nothing about Antigua if that helps.

I haven't been to either but my brother and his wife went to Sandals Antigua for their honeymoon and they didn't really like it-the major thing that bothered them was that they felt like, although the resort was beautiful if you took two steps outside of it they were in a third world country. They were almost depressed seeing how these people lived-total poverty-just not the right atmosphere for honeymoon--maybe i'm totally wrong but just relaying an experience!

My girlfriend and her husband went to Antigua for their honeymoon about a year and a 1/2 ago and loved it. Though they said the same thing, in that, you could not leave the resort because the toen was not that good.

We went to Sandals St. Lucia for our honeymoon - and it was incredible. I have nothing bad to say about the experience. It was a wonderful honeymoon.

I vote for St. Lucia....that is where i went, and LOVED it
We wanted to look into Antigua, but my travel agent said it is a little bit more quite, and laid back.
It depends what you are looking for. We wanted to relax, but wanted some sort of fun at night. At St. Lucia we did.

We went to Sandals St. Lucia for our Honeymoon in June. It was absolutely incredible. The only complaint we had was that the drink cups were really small, but we made frinds with one of the bartenders who made us jugs to bring back with extra cups!!!
