we will be going to a Sandals in Jamaica for 8 days and we were just wondering about how much spending money we would need?
also, any of you girls who had a butler, how much did you tip them?

none! the tips are included and they are not allowed to accept them. the only tip that is not included is the driver to and from the airport!

Yep....Nothing. Its actually nice not having to carry a wallet with $$$ around. The only thing would be if you wanted to buy souvenirs.

I usually bring $200-400 when I go to all-inclusives. even thought tipping is included, we like to give a little extra..dollars go along way in the carribean (bell hops, maids, bartenders) I also like to have money to shop for little trinkets

ITA!! A few american dollars go a LONG way as far as tipping is concerned. Especially with the maids..

I do about the same, just be careful about using your credit card. Call your credit company 1st and see if they charge you any fees for using the card out of the country.. Some of the fees are ridiculous.

The workers there actually have pins on them saying they dont accept tips since its included in the all inclusive price. I would bring 200-400 for shopping depending how much you want to buy. Other then that your good

Last time I went to a Sandals I think I brought about 200 and came home with about 170. I didn't need money the entire time! I tipped our maid a couple of bucks a day and that went a long way and also the drivers from the airport. Other than that I didn't spent any money the entire time. Just make sure you bring all the essentials, FH forgot his sunscreen and they charged an arm and a leg for it at the gift shop.
