Has anyone ever made a table sandbox for their beach wedding, if so can you post pics????? Where do you begin? I wanted to make one for my card table and thought I would ask, everyone is so damn helpful on here!

Re: Sandbox
I don't have pics but I just went to a wedding last week at Atlantis Marine World. So I'm not sure if the B&G put it together or if it's standard Atlatis equipment.
Basically it was a wooden box (probably about 6ft long, 3-4ft wide, and the sides were maybe 4inches high) painted white. It was filled with sand and a few large seashells. It was very cute and very different.

Re: Sandbox
You can probably make it. just buy the lumber and paint it. Not sure it's the kind of thing that can be puirchased ready made.

Re: Sandbox
I bought a basket at Michael's & lined it with some nice fabric & glued it with a glue gun and added bigger shells. Then I bought sandbox sand at Home Depot. I wanted to put my shells IN the sand, but on the day of, it looked kind of funny. The shells sunk in too far & you couldn't read the names.
This is what we wound up doing....
SOOOO if you are having the names inside the shells, make sure you leave room for the shells to sink in.

Re: Sandbox
wow that looks great, i love it! Now unfortunately my wedding has been moved to october and I am not getting married on the beach so I feel like I have to go with a fall theme! I am still getting married on the water but not as beachy as it would have been at a beach club! I love this idea though and might still be able to do something like this... Thanks for thinking of me!

You're welcome!!! I think you could still incorporate this being you are getting married on the beach. Maybe just put some fall leaves around the outsides of the sandboxes and use some fall flowers in the vase in front of them. I think it would be a great combo!!!
