Anyone know anything about this place? Main road? Outside Garden? Type of Cuisine? Price Range? Anything will help. I found Sands Atlantic Beach/ Sands Lido Beach...dumb question, but are both places near the water? TIA

They are both on the water. Sands Lido is on Lido Blvd and Sands Atlantic is on Beech Street. Honestly, I have not been to an event at Sands Atlantic in years but I do remember that there are no windows in the room. They are right on the beach and did not take advantage. The rooms themsleves are really nice and very big. I was just talking to my brother and he remembers the food being good...HTH
You are getting married in Point Lookout? Have you looked at Bridgeview?

I probably go to about 3 affairs at the Sands Atlantic a year. Was just there in May and will be at another wedding there in August. As the other poster said, no windows so even though you're on the beach - there is no 'view'. It is also a beach club, so if you get married in the summer, you will probably see people tramping in and out of the lobby walking to the beach. The viennese hour is phenomenal and they have cool stations at cocktail hour - meal is nothing special. Decor is pretty old-fashioned. Let me know if you have any other questions as I've been there a lot!!

I am having my wedding there. I grew up there, and think its great. I would start the cocktail hour late b/c of the whole beach traffic. We are still deciding on that.

Hey Rina,
I forgot to mention to you that if you get married during beach season, they partition the lobby so that the people from the beach club can walk back and forth to bathrooms and stuff, but wouldn't be part of the traffic coming into the lobby from your wedding. The only thing that confused me was that the partition would lead towards the groomsmen suite, so I think there would be some intermingling there.
Between you and I , we have visited so many places in the past few months we could write a LIW brides handbook to reception halls! We could list each one and each take half a page to review each place

I belong to a beach club a few down from there. I have never been inside, but I dont like the outside. Don't hate me for saying that please!!!!!
