Re: Sangria

love this peach sangria recipe:

2 firm-ripe peaches, cut into thin wedges
1/2 cup peach schnapps
1/3 cup superfine granulated sugar
3 cups chilled rosé wine (750-ml bottle)
2 cups chilled sparkling water

Stir together peaches, schnapps, and sugar in a large pitcher until sugar is dissolved and let stand 1 hour.

Stir in wine, sparkling water, and some ice.

there is a mix actually from Williams-Sonoma for sangria. you just add the fresh fruit and booze they suggest.

its simple to make too but this mix is REALLY tasty and easy. if you make it from scratch, we use a red wine and some brandy.

There is a brand of wine called House Jams... I've only seen it at Crazy Billy's liquor store in Deer Park, but I'm sure they sell it other places too. Their red wine is sooo good and has fruity taste to it. I mix that with brandy and then throw in some cut up green apples (and sometimes oranges).
