Any recommendations for menu selections? Cake? Thanks!

I'm getting married there in 17 days. We went with the Deluxe menu (we chose prime rib, Chicken Chardonnay and Chilean Sea Bass) and have chosen chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse filling with buttercream icing. I've been there before for other weddings and functions, and the food is incredible. You can't go wrong chosing anything. Good Luck!! I'll report on my day when I get back from the HM.

chmlengr - I can't wait to hear how it goes! Good luck!
Stiano - I went to a showcase there and the food was excellent. We went with the premier menu. I haven't chosen the exact menu yet but at the showcase I tasted the chateau briand in port wine sauce and the chilean sea bass and both were fabulous. Everyone I've spoken to has said the food was great so I don't think you could make a bad choice -

Hi! We`re having our October wedding at the Sans Souci. I have been to 2 foodtastings/showcases over the past year. The food was delicious! I particularly liked the shrimp scampi (cocktail hour) and the Imperial Wok station. The Chilean Sea Bass and the Chateaubriand were great. I tasted some of the cakes as well--yellow cake with chocolate mousse filling and whip cream frosting was very moist, and the chocolate cake with the espresso filling with butter cream frosting was just as good. I heard the carrot cake with the cream cheese filling was tasty as well. I hope that helps!

Did any of you check out their Better Business Bureau profile? I just did and it made me really nervous! They are rated unsatisfactory (the lowest rating). They've had two complaints in the past few years and they refused to respond to either one. I don't think I have anything to worry about but I am still upset!

Yes, I did check the BBB before I booked, and it did make me a little nervous as well. I asked Carol, the person I booked with, if she knew anything about the complaints. Of course, she said she didn`t. I called the BBB and they would not divulge the type of complaint(s). So instead of letting my imagination run wild, I went with my gut feeling (and recommendations of other brides-to-be)and booked. I fell in love with the place! Anymore questions, feel free to ask or you may email me at Anedi55@aol
