Sans Souci of Sea Cliff tonight

Although I'm almost certain I'l be booking with CLM some people had suggested I try out some other water front halls to just compare... So one person mentioned Sans Souci of Sea Cliff.

Anyone been to them recently? Any info on prices or anything else?

we're booked there! I am not sure on the pricing that you will get since you are looking for 2010 and I booked in 07- but its a beautiful old mansion overlooking hempstead harbor- we found it very charming and loved that it was one-wedding at a time for a very reasonable price- and also when we had our tasting- the food is to die for! good luck

Thanks! It looks really beautiful on the website and I found one bride's review of it on here from last year.
Are you taking all your pictures there or will you be going somewhere else nearby?
Can they also do my ceremony there?

I'm set on a water front hall... I'm just trying to see where I can get the most for my money.

yes you can do the ceremony there- if you search a couple brides did that and its right outside the hall overlooking the water- which is also where they do the outdoor cocktail hour.

eta- we are getting married at a church in queens, so we are doing some pictures there and some where we met which is down the street from the church- and of course some at the beach near the hall & at the hall

I might just do the pictures there if I choose them... unless I can do some pre-ceremony pictures at Sands Point I'd love a picture in front of that castle!

emomma17 is also getting married there- and she has some great pictures in her album--

Those pictures are just wonderful! much better than the ones provided onthe hall's own website... surprised they lacked in photos...
I'm definately excited about going tonight! Thanks!

I went there on Tuesday night. The FH made an appointment to see the place at 7. We hit alittle bit of traffic and got there at 7:10. There was nobody there!! We walked around the inside/ outside. We kept yelling hello?? hello? No one.... So we waited for another 10 minutes and we left. What strange and bizzare place.

My impression was its abit small and the mural on the pop up ceiling didn't speak to me. It seemed abit cheesy~

its specifically for a small wedding & I think its very rude of you to call it cheesy- there are brides getting married there and you should remember that.

ITA...it may not be your taste, but please (since you are new) be aware of what you say. You wouldn't want to hear someone say that about your RH.

From the picture's I've seen I don't care much for the ceiling mural myself.. but it's not a deal breaker with me. I wouldn't go calling it cheesy.
The size of it for me might be really good cause this wedding will be at about 100-120 people at the very most.
