sans souci - price and opinion

im going to look at sans souci in sea cliff. im only having 100-120 guests, so its a perfect size and right by the water.

does anyone know what it cost per person? please include if it was a fri / sat / sun, time of day and the month (winter may be cheaper)

what is your opinion of this location?

has anyone had a fall / winter / early spring wedding there? im curious about pictures with little - no foliage

has anyone had their ceremony there?

any other helpful advice about this location would be appreciated.

I went there but I don't have the paperwork anymore. I remember the price being okay... I don't know where you would have the ceremony nowhere inside-maybe in the small outside area where they can do the cH? It was pretty inside and the bathrooms were nice too... oh and the bar area was neat. Oh one thing that turned me off was that they were going on and on about the quality and freshness of their food, but that they remove the fondant icing before plating. Which means they make it the cheap way and it's inedible. Contridictory ....

price is around $80pp, food is exellent ,best around, and the room is beautiful. We met with Maria the pastry chef who was a total sweet heart. She made a mini cake for us and it was very yummy. We highly recommend the Sans Souci , from the service to the food all top of the line .

Really? This is not the right way to serve the cake?

I'd be pretty happy they don't waste money on yucky fondant and take it off before serving.

I am getting married at Sans Souci this weekend. The price for Saturday in August is 70-80pp depending on a menu (it didn't seem like the day of the week made any difference in price).

I love it how if you have an outside ceremony, you get a view of the water. The staff is very friendly there. The food is very fresh and extremely tasty.

I will let you know about my experience after this weekend. :)

I am pretty sure real fondant is inedible, or at the very least, not very good tasting...So I think removing the fondant is standard.

Hi! I am a past Sans Souci bride. Check out my review for pics, and FM me if you have any other questions. The price was right on with what people are posting here, very competitive is you ask me. They did a great job, it was gorgeous. Good luck!!
