I don't think this particular story is true but she has done a lot of other things that I just don't agree with....if she gets into office many women will regret it...IMO Sorry

I got an email with this in it... very bogus.

If this is true, she is out of control banning books from Shakespear to To Kill A Mockingbird to Harry Potter.

She asked the librarian a 'what if' question regarding banning books, aparently she never got around it to it in her year and a half as governor! Thats what I'm afraid of, what don't we know about her?

I stopped watching the news its all bogus. So far I'm liking what this site is doing:

i saw the video of damon on tv today. i think he should stick to makin movies. wont get into the rest.

anywho, dont be fooled, the whole book banning thing has been debunked already. as fox news reported, some of the books (harry potters for ex) weren't even in print yet! she didnt ask or insist for books to be banned. she asked a 'what if' question about banning books.

COMPLETE PROPAGANDA! Half the reports cited were before and after she was even in office

What exactly does everyone not agree with? She has a pretty amazing approval rating and for those who actually follow pollitics she has an even better follow through on policies and proposals

I dont agree that shes not for womens rights and is all about OILLLLLLLLL and drilling. She's a typical republican. Not my cup of tea. She's also under investigation and a total hypocrite. And as far as policies, do you mean her 'aerial slaughter' policies of wolves because as far as Im concerned were still in the dark as far as what she plans to do as VP of the United States.

She's also a political opportunist who is one of the biggest flip floppers out there. She was for the Bridge to Nowhere project, before she was against it, amongst other things. She turned on people who supported her b/c it was the best move 'optically.'

And btw, not all those who follow *Alaska* politics agree with her. She also couldn't tell you what a VP did not one week before JSM chose her.

we're getting away from the original topic here, which isn't even true, but in all fairness...i mean what about biden? a yr ago biden said under no circumstance would he be vp and again a little over a mth ago he said he had no interest.

and obama's no stranger to flip-flopping either- i.e.- his energy plan with regard to oil reserves, campaign financing, military planning, etc.

hey, thanks for these sites! my favorite part of the damon interview: 'It's like a really bad Disney movie, 'The Hockey Mom.' Oh, I'm just a hockey mom from Alaska, and she's president,' said Damon. 'She's facing down Vladimir Putin and using the folksy stuff she learned at the hockey rink. It's absurd.'

thank god someone said it! i'm going to be humiliated if some martha stewart mommy--whose been out of the country twice, one of them to canada--ends up sitting at the UN with all the leaders of the world.

biden and obama don't necessarily see eye-to-eye on things, but he was chosen for balance and a move toward the political center. there's no mystery there. he was picked for the position to help make up for a lack of experience and rein in obama's super liberal views to scoop up the swing vote and provide more political diversity in his administration.
