What exactly does everyone not agree with? She has a pretty amazing approval rating and for those who actually follow pollitics she has an even better follow through on policies and proposals
Yes, the list of books is false. She claims she was asking the librarian a hypothetical question. She asked said hypothetical question in the midst of asking for resignations as a 'loyalty test'. If I were the librarian, I'd be worried about my job, whether that was her intent or not.
Now, on to the quote: Follow through is great if you happen to agree with the policy, otherwise, it's still just a bad policy. Let's talk about one of Palin's policies - sending her husband copies of government e-mails, via an account on Yahoo rather than on the secure network, 'just to make sure she got them'. She is now claiming 'executive privilege'. Her hubby is neither executive nor cleared for such privilege, and she's using the same tack as the current WH admin to avoid public scrutiny. Shameful.
Let's talk about another of Palin's policies. You won't believe this, so HERE'S THE LINK. During Palin's second term as mayor of Wasilla, Gov. Knowles brought legislation that makes it illegal to make rape victims pay for their own rape kit. Why, why, why would you need such a law?
Because Wasilla felt that the tax burden, which might go as high as $14k per year (less than most of our weddings), was just too much for the Wasilla taxpayer to bear. $1.50 per person. Too much. Make the victim pay to collect the evidence.
THAT is disgusting, horrific, anti-woman policy.

Also, I think that list is one compiled by the American Library ***'n to raise awareness during banned book week, which is the last week in September (this year, Sept 27 - Oct 4). It didn't come from nowhere.

we're getting away from the original topic here, which isn't even true, but in all fairness...i mean what about biden? a yr ago biden said under no circumstance would he be vp and again a little over a mth ago he said he had no interest.
and obama's no stranger to flip-flopping either- i.e.- his energy plan with regard to oil reserves, campaign financing, military planning, etc.
Every candidate for the Presidency says that they have 'no interest' in being the VP when they are running. And they also have the right to change their mind, so honestly, I personally don't consider this a flip-flop. How many of us have thought about changing our jobs? Are we all flip floppers too b/c of that?
Which specific parts of Obama's plans are you referring to?
