Sashes

Hey ladies- I am planning on ordering mine online tonight- and questions.

What width and length did you get?

I was thinking 2 3/4' x 3 1/2 yards (about 10 feet)

But I can get 4.5 yard length instead.

My dress is not poofy.....so what would you get?

My waist- I was going to order the 3.5 yard one, but maybe I should just get the 4.5 yard one?

And is a width of 2 3/4' good? I feel like 2 is too think and 4 is too thick

i think a couple of the sashes i tried on were 3' so the 2 3/4' one is probable good. but i wound up buying a gown that didnt need a sash so im probably not the best person to respond. ask loveydovey (Jenni) - i think she got a sash for her gown

I did get a sash but i had custom measurements, I measured my waist and then added 4 inches just to be safe. Mine is all rhinestones though, no ribbon hanging down

I dont remember the thickness let me see if its posted on the etsy site

Thanks- my waist is 27. I am still undecided if I want the sash to just be sewn into the back seam of the dress or have a bow, so I want the option

I am 5'-2'...so I think 3.5 yards should be fine, right?

mine is only 1.5 inches and it seems like plenty so 2 3/4 should be great

3.5 yards is 126 inches lol, just looked it up on google

so that is a LOT!

can you order less? you figure you need 60inches max

assuming you use 30 inches just for your dress, bc the dress is stiff and adds some bulk, you will need a little more than 27...and then another 30 for bow and to hang down a bit if you want

my waist was 28 and 28 was not enough, I had to order again to get more inches
