When Alexandr was reading Carrie poetry, I swear I was thinking, geez, he looks like her dad reading her a bedtime story. He's much too old for her. Not to mention he's completely not her style.

the ony one that was near 'her style' was the fiance. I can't remember his name. He was in My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

Even Big is not her style. Unless he comes back all laid back in the last few episodes.

She's quirky, he's businesslike.

I enjoy Alex, he's romancing Carrie and I think she enjoys that.

me too - actually, I only caught the last 5 mins.... I saw the wedding and the end where Samantha told Miranda about her cancer.

How was the lump found? Can someone give me a quick recap?

I think Mikhail Barishnikov (the Russian) is very attractive, I know I am in the minority here...he is different, cute and so sweet to her if a bit over the top but he romances her like no one else ever has. However, I do still like BIG for her if he could only open his heart again like he did when he had heart surgery - I just think they are meant to be.

I think Miranda and Steve are so cute together and it was totally appropriate that she proposed to him as she has always been the stronger in the relationship.

As for Samantha's breast cancer, I think it was so touching when she told Carrie in the cab, and Carrie's subtle reaction and how she almost went into tears but didnt so as not to upset Samantha. I know Samantha will be ok, but I think this will bring the women even closer and she will hopefully get even closer to her boyfriend Smith.

I dont love Charlotte and Harry together but I understand why it works....he is so the opposite of everything she ever thought she would have (her ideal was Trey and look how that turned out - jerk) so that is why their relationship works - that food poisoning was a bit gross, but we've all been there! If it were Trey and her experiencing that you know he wouldve been disgusted at her or not have been able to share the bathroom with her!

I think the gals are going out in style--- this is a great show and I will miss it.

ABSOLUTELY, 100% AGREED!!! MUCH better than last week's too!!! It was funny, emotional, sweet, everything!

Miranda, was just too funny last night 'I'll call you back, I have a pile of tu-tu's coming towards me' LOL

Samantha - OH MY GOSH!!! I read this was supposed to happen! What a strong woman. I'm thinking she's going to break down eventually though

Carrie & Alex - awe, he likes her soooo much! I think it's adorable, still think he's a bit too old for her though

Charlotte & Harry - food poisoning. I thought it was hysterical and sweet at the same time!

I can't wait for next week!!

i think there is something super-sexy about Carrie and Alexander. he is a little too old for my taste, but not out of the realm of possibility for Carrie.

i say - bring back Berger!!!! he left horribly and i think they need to bring him back to do the right thing!!

I would be REEEEEEEEALLY REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY upset if they ended the season with Samantha dying! She is the most care-free of all of them!
I dont even wanna jinx it by writing it!
And i DESPISE Alexandr. He gives me the creeps! I want her with BIG.....Berger was a BRAT!

Loved the episode, I am so in mourning that this show is going off the air I did not get the whole thing when Carrie fainted outside Lincoln Center though, I thought that was a little much. The Alex dude is growing on me, but I still think the show is strange when the women are supposed to be the same age and Carrie is dating someone so old, and Samantha is dating Smith, who is half her age...and yummy! That was the only thing missing from the episode, every show should have Smith on w. no shirt on

Samantha is older than the other 3 - it's been mentioned before on the show. I don't really find anything strange about the age differences. It's not like Carrie's 18 dating a 50 y/o...she's in her 30's and worldy in her own world (fashion/dating/etc). I still think her and Alex compliment one another nicely.

I think Carrie should end up with Big. They are soulmates and she really loves him.

I think the Russian is way to old for her but he's a good distraction until Big comes back!!
