DH wants satellite radio for his birthday because he wants to be able to list to Howard Stern. I don't know anything about this...what do I look for? How much does it cost? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Satellite radio?
Howard Stern is on Sirius Radio, so don;t get XN if DH wants Howard ...
You can but a radio and the subscription here. I think it's $150 for 1-year subscription
I need it for the same reason. But I listen on the bus, has anyone bought a SIRIUS walkman yet?

I love my XM...I know Howard will be on XM soon. I personally don't like him but I like XM. DH got it on E-Bay for about $80 less than regular price and we paid about $75 for installation. I'd say we got a great bargain.

Howard will be on Sirius starting January 2006.... NOT XM.

Be careful. We bought the sirius for my dad and I guess b/c of the way our ouse is situated we can't get reception 90% of the time. Biggest waste ever

ditto...DH hates him, but I listen pretty regularly.
He does have sirius though....they have this newer technology than XM & supposedly have more country stations.
I got his radio for Christmas through Crutchfeld's
