Are you having a traditional wedding? ARe you wearing a traditional style dress, color? Are you not seeing your FH until the ceremony?
I think we both decided we would keep some traditions but we really did our own thing with many parts of the wedding. We are taking pictures before the ceremony and spending the night before the wedding together. I also plan on wearing gold shoes instead of the traditional white and the BM dress is anything but traditional. We are not getting married in a church which in our cultures is very non traditional. Both sets of parents have issues with what we are doing but we have been together 9 years and both have children so we figured we would do what made us happy.

My dress will be traditional but I think most other aspects will be modern. I haven't fleshed out the details yet.

So it would seem like most people are going traditional which is cool. I just dont think that would fit our style or personality. We are really fun outgoing people and we wanted everything about this wedding to reflect that.
I do love some of the traditions though.

Are you having a traditional wedding? I guess for the most part it is traditional. We'll be getting married in a church, my father will be walking me down the aisle, we'll do the traditional dances with our parents, we'll have the cake.
ARe you wearing a traditional style dress, color? I don't really see my dress (at least the one that I am set on getting) as very traditional as far as style. And as for the color, it's not going to be white white, it's off-white
Are you not seeing your FH until the ceremony? I actually won't be seeing FH for 2 days before the wedding. Planning on having the rehearsal on Thursday before and after the dinner FH will go back to Queens and I am going to stay in the Bronx at my mom's house so we can do all the last minute stuff the day before the wedding.

Having a traditional wedding. The only thing I am going to do differently is the bo-k toss. Instead of throwing it, I am going to give it to my mom.

Getting married in a church. I don't want to see FH before the ceremony. I actually am trying to possibly not even see him the day before. I want that day to be a girl day with my mom and sister (mani/pedi/maybe a massage??) My dress is probably going to be traditional, but what dress isn't?? If it's white, it's traditional! Definitely wearing a veil all night (something my mom felt strongly about for my sister's wedding, and I agree.) I do want to wear a bright pop of color for shoes.
I'm not a traditionalist, and I've found plenty of ways to be untraditional. My photography is pretty unique and the most important vendor for me personally that I've booked so far.
