Saturday 1/12/08 Q of D...

2008 is our year ladies!!!! And yes, 99.88% of us haven't walked down the aisle....BUT...if you could change your wedding plans...
What would you do differently?

My change is a bit drastic...
I'd have a big BBQ at my parents house and when all the guests got there we'd just start the ceremony. This way no one was obligated to give us anything and we would totally be relaxed. No worries about center pieces and cake and kids at the wedding. I'd make it totally casual.

Honestly, I am planning my dream wedding and there really is nothing I would want to change. I love this entire process, I love the stress of it all and can't wait to see all my planning come together

You are officially my hero!!!

I guess I never had a 'Dream' wedding. I am hating the stress. FH is now officially stressing which makes it worse and to top it all off.......half the people that are going to be there are some of my least favorite people.
I'm not the destination wedding type...but I certainly wouldn't mind my parents and my sister, his mom and his brother at the 'LIL Chapel O Love' in Vegas!!!

I would of made us save earlier in the game this way we could of had the extra's such as step dancers, irish folk band at cocktail hour, an irish entree such as bangers and mash and lastly I would of held out for a different ring because i did what was best for us budget wise and not what my mother always wished I woudl of gotten so therefore she points it out always.

Other then that I love everything but i do plan on our 10 year ann we have another ceremony on reserve just laid back just immediate family and more hippie ish pot luck ish.

I actually was thinking over the holiday season that doing Christmas in July would have been fun. But I am loving all the things I am doing now.

I'm with you! As much as it's sometimes stressful and there doesnt seem to be enough time in the day to do all of the things on our weddding to-do list (around work and everything else).... It is everything we want and I can't wait to see everything all come together!

I'm with some of you girls.. I wouldn't change a thing! At first, when I started planning, I was upset I wasn't doing a destination wedding like I always wanted. however, now i'm SO HAPPY I didn't end up going in that direction. I love love love everything about my wedding. I love my RH, love my dress (as of now haha), i LOVE the band we're having.
just wish it wasnt so damn expensive lol

I think i would have spent less money and put it towards our house instead!

I would have shopped around more for a RH and my dress. Both of those things were seriously impulse choices and sometimes I think I made a mistake but Im sure I'll get over it.

I would have also saved more cuz now I know we'll be scrounging for extra $$ closer to the wedding.
