Saturday Afternoon Wedding

Any suggestions for a hall that does great summer Saturday afternoon weddings?

I think Harrison House in Glen Cove would be beautiful. I think it's around $150pp for a Saturday afternoon though, which is significantly higher than most other places. Also Woodbury Country Club, Crescent Club, Woodlands, and Crest Hollow Country Club are great for afternoon/outdoor weddings.

I went to one at San Souci...with all the windows you have a gorgeous view during the day.

Vineyard Caterers has gorgeous grounds and is about $90/person for Saturday afternoon!

I went to a Sat afternoon wedding at Land's End. It was amazing - outdoor cocktail hour, right on the water....it was great!

Second the Riviera- the view is gorgeous. My brother was married there on a Sat. afternoon and it was so nice to have the view and to also be able to go out on the deck.

I second Carlyle on the Green! I saw a day wedding there and it was gorgeous! The ballroom is surrounded by windows and the views of the golf courses are spectacular! Plus they have an out door ceremony and patio for use throughout the wedding (both so nice)!

I think a lot of palces do great daytime weddings, it depends on what you're looking for. Lots of palces ahve orgeous outdoor cocktial hours, and lush gardens. I don't know mnay halls, but for a smaller wedding, riviera is SO beautiful! And crest hollow has a beautiful site for outdoor coktial hours. it's so very elegant and has a really upscale feel
