My question today- even if you chose your ring, etc- were you totally surprised by your proposal?
I had nothing to do with anything and FH TOTALLY surprised me with everything! I was wondering why he was so tense during our road trip up to Bar Harber, Maine! But he had the ring in his pocket the whole time!

went to work with him that morning (he's in sales) so it wasnt even close to being a thought in my brain...we went to one of his clients in the bronx and ''since it was so nice out' he suggested to go to the bronx zoo bc i'd been dying to go...butterfly house=

Completely shocked. We never even talked about getting married! Obviously I wasn't against it!! FH did a great job!

knew it was coming but didn't know when even when we were in VT and the horse and carriage pulled up and there was a table with a bottle of champagne and cheese and crackers i still thought it was part of the package!

Totally surprised! I mean I knew we would end up married. A week before our trip to Puerto Vallarta his parents surprised us with tickets to Fla to see them. I thought for sure that was when he was going to do it because they had the diamond for the ring. We went to Puerto vallarta and it turns out he was suppose to do it Tuesday but did it Monday. He always said it would be any random Tuesday. He couldn't wait though.
He had my mom sew the ring into his sweatshirt b/c he couldn't check the ring in the luggage and I had all the carry-ons.
So surprised. It was amazing

I gave some pics of rings i liked to a friend a long time ago and she gave them to FH (that was kind of the plan). I knew a proposal was coming, but the thing is, I KNEW (at least I thought I knew) he didn't have a ring. So when he got down on one knee and pulled out the box, I was totally shocked...(He had told me that he was helping his mom move furniture one Saturday morning...It was perfect because he knew I wouldn't be suspicious and that I would want to sleep in on a Saturday morning.)
I was even more shocked that everyone else knew and I didn't!

he chose my ring and totally surprised me with the proposal! We were on our first vacation together this past summer and traveled with the ring to the DR, Punta Cana. He totally shocked me cause ididnt think he would travel with a ring. Love him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he has asked me and we are planning but I really wanted a special ring so he had a ring for me, but i told him that I wanted my grandmothers diamonds in the ering and the wedding band, so he promised that when he finally gets my ring back he will do it the right way.
so I know its coming, but im excited because now I get two proposals!!!!!

I was surprised, but kind of expecting it. I thought it was going to happen on the 4th of July, but he asked on the 5th of July... he was such a nervous wreck! i was an emotional mess! hahaha

I knew approximately when the ring was coming, as we were waiting for it to arrive from his jeweler in Hong Kong.
I didn't know that he'd be taking us back to where our first date was and proposing there!

Well I had an idea that it would be on our trip to the outer banks but he kept trying to confuse me by saying it wasn't going to be that it was to cliche lol but I def was not expecting it when it happened!

Totally shocked. He did a gr4eat job besides geting me a size 7 ring when my actual size is 3.5. But anyways, he gather all of our intimate family and proposed the day before valentimes. He did an amazing job picking out the ring. I give him props for that.

Totally surprised!!! We had talked about it in the past but decided we were in no rush. He didn't tell anyone, so all our family & friends were just as surprised as I was! He picked out the ring and stone and it is perfect! He even took one of my old rings with him to make sure he was getting the right size!

FH & I went ring shopping together because he felt he wanted to get me something I would love since I'll have it the rest of my life..... but the proposal was a TOTAL SHOCKER! I had no clue he had even gotten the ring, never mind set up a whole proposal plan. LOVE
