Good morning all you lovelies!! I am up early and I am excited, because FH is taking me on a surprise overnight trip....i cant wait and i hope its good
Anyway, before we leave, I told him to give me his laptop so i can post the QOTD. He is a bit like but he humors me
OKAY, so without further ado....
******If any unexpected circumstances happened where you could NOT spend as much money on your wedding as you planned, of the items that are already booked or planned what would you change? What is the one 'extra' item that you would try to avoid having to get rid of?*****
We would probably just have a basic dj/mc package, Nothing crazy, no extra lights no live music . We would also just order very simple invitations (less than $1pp instead of the $4+ price we are looking at). I am not sure what we would do for favors.
The one 'extra' that we have that I am really excited about is the photobooth. It was the first thing we booked after the RH, so I would try to save on other things before having to cancel that. That would be sooo sad

I would probably cut back on money by using a dj instead of a band, and changing the day/time of my wedding.
The one thing I wouldn't get rid of would be my hall. I love it too much!

I kind of had of have this issue right now unfortunately! I mean its not really that I have less than I thought, its that I realize we went over budget on some things and need to cut out others...
So if I hadnt already committed (written contracts) to these things, I would cut out having a percussionist as part of the dj package, not have a seperate limo for me and FH from chapel to rh, try to lower the guest list a little, go on a cheaper honeymoon (may really have to do this ), maybe have some low and some high cps (i love high and couldnt not have them or i would regret it)

as it is we're getting basic packages w/all of our vendors. not sure where to cut back there. maybe will take off the video clip montage on my video (my only extra). our biggest expanse is the RH so I guess that would've have to go, no matter how much we're inlove with it (I am a very practical $ conscience person lol)
dont know what we wouldnt get rid off oh ye! my dress (its already completely paid for)
I would probably not get video then... and not have fliet mignon

i'd prob get rid of the uplighting and mongram lights and stuff
and i'd avoid cutting out the seafood stuff we added to ch

If I had to cut back I would cut back on Limos and ceremony music
One thing I would never cut back on is haviong a band at the reception. I love live music at weddings and would not trade it in for the world

hmm im already mainly getting basic packages so im not really sure..
i guess i would cut out the extras im planning on doing like menus, table numbers, bpics, gifts the day of etc..

The only thing I could really cut back on is our guitarist for the ceremony/CH...other than that we have really basic packages for all our vendors. I guess we'd go back to DIY centerpieces for $25 instead of floral centerpieces for $55. Everything else is a basic package...we actually have basically come in under budget for everything except flowers (we're at budget for flowers).
So if we had less money to spend we'd have to cut out things that I find imperative to our day...I guess I'd eat PBJ from now until the wedding to have it

We would eliminate some of the live music elements we have going on...I feel like the only things we really splurged on were the dj with live music and lighting and photography. I guess I could get a smalled package for photography but Photo are SOOOOOOO important to me so i would find a way to make it all work.

This is a tough one. I'd say we could cut back on the band, but we'd lose a chunck of money and I wouldnt want that. So, I guess I'd scale back on limos, invites and favors -- all the stuff I didnt do yet. And I would probably go VERY cheap on the rehearsal dinner.
