Saturday's QOTD

Okay girlies!

What is your biggest, best hope/goal for the two of you during your first year of marriage?

My answer: well we've been through a lot of ups and downs, like everyone. But putting it all in perspective... i plan to continue working to keep my relationship and friendship with FH (soon to be DH) happy and inspiring. To not take it for granted, to trust myself to let go and laugh more and hope more pieces fall into place (job-wise)... and i'd really really like to start a family. i want to walk down the aisle fully of happiness, hope and strength :o)

That FH realizes Im right,lol. True though considering the way he was raised. I have helped him through alot and hope that living with me will open his eyes even more.

That we get pregnant and that we can get the house we've had our eye for the last few months, hope it's still on the market in November!

Hmmm I would have to say that Fh and I continue to grow together as one closer to God. Planning this wedding has brought us closer than I could have ever imagined and it was all thanks to deciding we wanted our marriage to blessed by God. As long as we are closer to him everything else our hearts desire will be within our grasp.

This is a wonderful question!

We both live such hectic lives that nothing ever seems to settle down into the routine that I so desire. Unlike everyone else, I don't want to get pregnant right away and we already have a house but I want to feel settled. On any given day we talk about the following:

should we sell the house? should we rent the house? should we buy my grandparents house? should we get rid of the boat? should we rent the across the street property? should fh stop teaching and just do private lessons? am i going to law school? should i work full time? when is the appropriate time to have children? when should we move? how much time/effort should we put into the business? should i travel to road shows with the business? when is he finishing his masters? is he getting a second masters? etc, etc, etc....and it just feels chaotic!

I want to feel settled and like I know what is going on and what to expect because I hate feeling like everything is up in the air. I need a rough plan of sorts. Not for us to change directions all the time.
