Re: Sausage & Peppers
First brown the sausages in a pan with a enough olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan. Once they are browned well, add the peppers and onions.. Cover the pan (medium/high heat). Every once in a while - toss everything. Add, salt and pepper when they are about done.
At the very end - I put the heat on high and add about a 1/2 cup of white wine and let the alchol evaporate. (keep the cover off for this and keep tossing everything in the pan.)

Nope. I don't eat meat so I've never made... but I have some chicken sausages in the freezer. I was going to throw them on the grill and then put them into the oven w/peppers, onions, and olive oil.

chicken sausage is AWESOME. if you are grilling them then are you making the peppers and onions by themselves and just serving it all together? if so then just a big pan, olive oil and a bunch of sliced peppers and onions and just let it cook; add salt and pepper. people usually cook the sausage in them for added flavor at some point but there's still plenty of flavor if you make separate and serve together. yum.

Re: Sausage & Peppers
Easy....i either boil or put the sausage in the microwave to partially cook. You dont want to eat raw sausage.
Cook onions and peppers separate with a little olive oil and butter. Either cut up sausage or leave whole and add to peppers and onions that are starting to get soft. Make sure to cut the pep/onion in large chunks since they cook down. Close the lid and cook on low till the onion and pepers are soft and the sausage is totally cooked. I usually add a little tomato sauce to make it red. A little pepper and salt and some rolls and your set.

Re: Sausage & Peppers
the easiest recipe in the world and tastes SOOO yummy!!!!
BBQ the sausage....whatever kind of sausage you want to make....
Cut up the peppers and onions thin and spread out on flat baking pan, drizzle a little bit of olive oil , salt and pepper and cook at 400 for like a half hour ...i like to cook it until the onions blacken up, but cook it to your liking....
Walla...dinner is served....what is great is that it is not greasy from the sausage...so many compliments and it is the easiest recipe ever!!
