that depends on you.. if you have alot of out of towner's coming, or it's near a holiday or a destination type wedding, you could send them a year in advance.. I'd say no later than 6 months before you plan on sending out the real invites..

ETA: Since your wedding is two year's away, I'd send them a year in advance.. so next aug send them out..
