The Wedding isn't until July 2007. When do you think is a good time to send out 'save the date' cards?

I have mostly heard around the year mark, but I am actually going to be sending mine out in about a month or so. My mom really wanted to send out engagement announcements so I am including a save the date with those. i think you can really send them at any time

I'm going to give out STD magnets at my engagement party in 2 weeks. You can give them out whenever you want.

OOHHH I like that idea! that way I can get away with one postage!!! (im so bad but these extra things really do save alot in the end!)

Im probably sending mine out about 6 months before because of the holiday-I dont know if you read what I posted about holiday weekends, but make sure people KNOW it is a holiday weekend-my friends wedding was July 1st and he had ALOT of people cancel on him a week before-even after they had sent their RSVPs b/c they didnt pay attention to the date

My fiend is making them up so I'll put down Memorial Day Weekend. Hopefully that should do it.
