save the date

Is anyone sending them out? If so, when?

I am getting married May 21, 2004 Memorial Day weekend. I know I will send them, just not sure when.

They say 6-8 months before. Considering you are having it on a holiday weekend, I would do it as early as possible and try and block a set of rooms at a hotel so you can lock in the prices if guests are coming from out of town. Also, so people don't make Memorial Day plans if they aren't aware of your wedding date.

WOW!!! May 21, 2004 is Memorial Day weekend??!!??!!?? Im getting married on the 22nd!! I didnt think it was Memorial Day weekend!!! Are you sure????????

I have also read up to a year before. I am getting married on July 4th weekend. Are you planning on sending them out to family and friends or just family?

I plan on Mothers Day 2004. So I think i'll send cards out.

You scared me!!! I didnt want Memorial Day Weekend cause the traffic out here is CRAZY (Im on the east end) and places to stay are SOOO overbooked!!!

Memorial Day weekend is the 30th. That is when my wedding is and we are sending out STD magnets in the end of August, beginning of September, just because it is a holiday weekend. I thought of sending them out to everyone who is invited to the wedding. Is that what you do or only to family and close friends?
