Save the Date

Hi ladies,

I am getting married in Sept. 2003. I would like to send my guests STD magnets. Normally, what is the time frame?

I'm not sure about the time frame per se....but I have a lot of outta towners. My date is 9/19 and I sent my STD's in early Feb.

I'm getting married 9/20/03. Most of my guests live out of state, so I wanted to sent them early. I mailed my STDs in late Nov. Then this past weekend I mailed and informational package with a newsletter I wrote with the hotel info for the rooms I blocked and a LI winery magazine.

Edited to say that I only mailed the info packets to out of state guests.

I think the normal time frame is somewhere around six months before. I'm getting married at the beach so mostly everyone is OOT and I just mailed my STDs last week. However, one hotel block is comeplety booked already - I don't think its too early for your guests to be thinking that far out.

I am also getting married in September and I sent mine out in February. I say, send them out sooner rather than later esp. if you have a lot of out of town guest who need to make travel arrangements

We are getting married July 3, since it was a holiday weekend, I sent our STD's out shortly after we booked our hall. We booked the hall in July, and I think that I sent out the STD's in August. I wanted to make sure that I gave sufficient notice, since it is a holiday weekend, and some people make vacation plans a year in advance.
