Save the Date addresses

Save the Date addresses

Hi Ladies. Happy 2014!!

I feel like the question has been asked already, but I can't find the forum...

When sending out your save the dates, did you/ or do you plan to write out the addresses or make labels? What about the return address?

I was thinking of just making labels because the save the dates are less formal and it would save a lot of time.

What do you ladies think?

Thanks!

I just finished this project! I downloaded a calligraphy font from dafont.com and printed on avery labels. From a distance it looks like a very neat handwriting. It makes it a little formal but without the cost!

we printed the addresses on the Avery clear labels. for the return address, I had ordered a self-inking stamp from etsy with our new address on it.

I did the same for the addresses. For the return address, I ordered from Zazzle.

I wrote out the addresses. When we sent out our save the dates we hadn't decided on much so we went with informal, which suits us. Our return addresses were printed directly on the save the dates as we did postcards.

I love dafont.com! They have some awesome choices!

Thanks for asking this - I'm in a mad dash with my STD's and never even thought about this until a couple of days ago. Tuesday I ordered return address stickers from Zazzle. Tonight we just bought Avery labels that I'm going to play with this weekend and I'll hopefully get the STD's out by Monday/Tuesday.

I printed my addresses on Avery clear labels. I did not have a return address because I sent post cards, but I would have done the same.

Just wondering -- are those clear labels designed for laser printers only? Or can you print with an ink printer?

I printed the labels on a word document with white labels from staples. I got a stamp from esty for the return address. I would do whats easier for you, even if you write them out it's not a big deal.

I used the Avery template for the clear labels (# is on the back of the package). I downloaded the font 'Lavenderia' - I really liked it! I ordered a custom stamp and put it on the back for the return address.

I plan on ordering clear labels from zazzle for the addresses and return addresses - it's what we did for our engagement party invites.

FH printed them from Word in the font we like directly onto the envelope, no labels needed for mailing or return address.

i hand wrote the addresses on the STDs because i have fabulous handwriting, and we ordered return address labels from vistaprint with our caricatures on them :)

I had return address labels made. I then used a gold (one of our colors) sharpie and hand wrote all the addresses. One of my friends in college was an art major and taught me how to write in a very fancy script. It took time but it was worth it! :)
