What I am doing is for my single friends, just addressing it to them. For families, listing all their names or 'The Smith Family' or 'Mr. & Mrs. John Smith' with the kids names listed below. I think the Save the Dates are not as formal os the wedding invites. JMO

I just sent them to the 'main' person I was inviting. I also only sent one to a family with adult children living at home. We did the fridge magnets and I figured, 'how many magnets about my wedding need to be on the refrigerator??' We were also undecided about the single people with guests at the time I sent them out, so I did not want to commit to that at the time.

We are going to send them 1 per family as well. And we are just going to put the main person on the invites...with guest will come with the invitation
