Re: save the date cards

I'm looking into this now, I'm checking on some websites to see what I find. Alot of people send these out- its a good idea so people know to hold that date and not plan anything since generally invitations go out later on. I'm definetly gonna send out but first I have to find ones that I like.

Good Luck!

Re: save the date cards

I sent them out in the beginning of Oct.. It's sort of common practice in terms of wedding planning these days!

You can tell your mom you're normal

Re: save the date cards

I just ordered mine last week from Polka Dot Designs. I actually used a 'response card' for my STD--it's 3.5' x 5.5' so it was the perfect size for what I wanted. I thought about making them myself, but i'm not that creative.

Re: save the date cards

I thought the idea of a magnet was cute. I want to try to design them myself and then paste them on business size magnet. I'm not sure if I can pull it off but I like the idea.

Re: save the date cards

I am having a co-worker make mine for me. She does cards on the side and made engagement party invitations for her daughter with a black and white pic of a little girl and boy on it where the flowers the girl was holding are in color. Its soo cute!

Re: save the date cards

I will be sending mine out next week. I think it has become common practice now adays esp if you are getting married on a holiday weekend or a weekend that most people book in advance.
