SAVE THE DATE ETIQUETTE-HELP

When you are addressing the envelop for the STD to someone who you are inviting with guest, do you put guest on the envelop?

Example, my friend liz is bringing a date..

Ms. Smith and Guest

I did that- just to give someone a heads up that they would be invited with a date.

I was wondering the same thing, but I think I might just address it to the person by themself, unless they have a boyfriend, then I will but both of their names.
