Sorry if this sounds silly, but i'm looking into ordering my save the date magnets online and someone said that when mailing them you need to put them into special magnet pouches before you put then in the envelopes to be mailed. becuase the magnets do something to the mail machines???
Does anyone know anything about this??? Please let me know. Thanks.

Nooooooo lol I stuck mine right in the envelopes and sent them out.... everyone got theirs without a problem

i've heard to slip a piece of tissue paper around it and test it out on the refrigerator to make sure it doesnt still magnatize. they can magnatize to the sides of a mailbox or the machines and get stuck

IDK about that. But I did wrap my magnets in cardstock before I put them in the envelopes. Because if you put them in the envelopes without anything you run the risk of them getting stuck in the sorting machines or inside of metal mailboxes, etc.

I never heard of this! I was just planning on shoving them in the envelope and mailing them out!
