Save the date progress

Ok so I have designed a couple of different Save the Dates using Microsoft Word. Now that its saved as a word document, do I have to save it as something else? I was hoping to be able to print them out on postcard size paper or 4x6 photo paper, so how would I do that?

ok i think i answered my own questions. Here is just my first try at it. The picture is sort of tough to add too much writing, so I just kept it simple. Any suggestions??
