Save the date qst

Im trying to figure out what city and state to include on my save the date:
the city of the ceremony
or the city of the reception
or something general like Long Island, New York
or just leave out the city and state????

there is another chat about this too... soo many ppl have chosen different things.. i put the reception location on ours. i think its all a matter of preference of what you want to put.

I would put Reception address because you want them to stay near the reception not the church.

I put the RH. I also put our wedding website from the knot to fill in guests of specifics as to where it actually is and where the church is as well. I thought it was more important for them to know the city they'd end up in, not where they're starting.

I asked this question yesterday on both 11 and 10 boards.

I got mixed answered so Im jsut going to keep mine as ceremony. To me thats the most important part.

Once they get the invite they will know the RH, if they dont already know.

another option is to leave out the city and state all together

i did not put either...just the date and our wedding website. this way they can look at the site and see the hotel info and the reception info.

i don't remember what i did...lol...but you can just put Long Island..and if you have a wedsite, include that on it, and then all the info in more detail is there
