Good Morning - I have a quick question for you guys. When are you sending out your Save the Dates. My wedding is September 28, 2008 (doing a fall theme magnet) I was planning on sending them out at the end of November but some people are telling me to wait until January. What do you think?

My wedding is August 23, 2008 and I'm sending mine out in our Christmas cards...obviously to those who are invited only.

My wedding is next September and I just sent mine out last week. I have lots of people coming from out of town and want to give them plenty of time to plan (and save!).

Ok - so your sending them out 8-9 months in advance. People just keep saying that I should wait till everyone has there 2008 Calendars already. Don't most people pick them up in December

I'm in the same boat and I'd prefer for the out of town guests not to make plans. We also thought it was a good idea becuase we created a wedding website and that if people wanted to buy us a gift for the holidays then they could just click on our registry link

I would send them out now. If I was a guest I would want as much time as possible to make travel arrangements.

the only reason why I personally wouldn't send them out before december is that people are so busy and they may just get lost in the mix of holiday parties, xmas cards etc.
Do whatever is easier for you in the end...

Wow my wedding is in December and I thought I should send them out soon but I guess I should wait a little while...
