Save the Date Typo
I've decided to include the hotel info in my save the dates. I ordered magnets off etsy and due to a problem at the printer they printed both cards and magnets, so they sent me both and I decided I'd have the hotel info printed on the backs of the cards.Long story short, I just realized the printer spelled guaranteed wrong in the fine print. The worst part is I ok'd the proof cause I thought for sure they would just copy and paste what I gave them. I'm a huge spelling stickler and it's annoying me. FH says I'm nuts and clearly we did not create these so no one will care- if they even notice.
In order to fix the mistake, I'd have to have them re-printed entirely, which would cost a fortune (I already paid $60 to print the hotel info, on top of what the save the dates cost- $250).
What do you guys think? Am I insane and should I just send them and hope our guests are all either bad spellers or non-observant?

I understand it bothering you, it would bug me too. But not worth the money to have them reprinted. I dont think many people will notice...and if they do who cares! It will be fine! They will get the info either way.

I had to order a second group of engagement party invitations because we invited more people, and spelled 'September' wrong. No one who got the typo invites noticed. Or if they did, they didn't say anything.

I would have to have them reprinted, even knowing full well that no one would notice. But I would also try to negotiate with the vendor, because they should have checked their work, especially if you had it right to begin with....

I would personally reprint them but I'm NUTS when it comes to spelling and that would drive me up a wall. Even if the vendor won't redo them for free, maybe you can get some kind of discount on the reprint since it was really their mistake?

Mistakes happen. If you already paid for it i'd leave it and laugh about it. Anyone who notices and actaully talks about it is really just a petty person.Welcome New Vendors
