STD are tricky because it can be a true reflection of you and your hubby's taste. One thing you may want to do is search the chat room boards under std or 'save the date' and see what people have come up. A lot of people do magnets or personalized items that you can make yourselves. Someone was really creative and made their save the date to look like a movie poster. Another option is to search the internet for save the date ideas, there are so many out there, people are so creative. Mine was a magnet I think from carlson craft and we just gave them a picture of ourselves, they put it on the left of the magnet and then on the right it says Please save the dates, etc. etc.

I made mine using photoshop elements. I wanted something simple and to go with my theme of all red.
These are mine. I really am not crazy about how they came out. It was not what I expected but....you learn as you go along with this whole wedding planning business...
