Save the Dates

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding my save the dates because I am getting mixed opinions. I am sending out magnets and I don't know if I should put our last names on them. Our last names will be on the return address labels and I should hope that if I am inviting people to our wedding they should know who we are.

Can I have some of your feedback on whether or not to include our last names on the save the dates? What did some of you do?

Well first we sent out Engagement Announcements and we put our last names on that. Then we sent out magent STDs but we didn't put our last names on that.

I think it's a good idea, now his side knows my last name and my side knows his last name. Our closer relatives knew this already, but I'm mostly thinking about our more distant relatives. Plus I think it's helpful when they're looking up your registry to have your full name, esp if it's often mispelled.

yes I put both our lasts names on them. I liked the way it looked...and I wont have my last name for much longer so I'm happy it will be on the STD to save for memories

Our magnets included a picture of the two of us, so I didn't bother with last names.

I sent out my save the dates with our last names written on them, it looked nicer that way.

FH & I both have long first and last names so we went with first names on our magnets & did exactly like you are thinking (last names on envelopes). Worked out great.
