Is it necessary to do STDs?? I was planning on doing them, but the invites I like are costing a little more than I was expecting. I'm thinking of just sending the invites out 8 weeks before and forgetting abotu the stds to save money. Our wedding is in Nov, not a holiday weekend, and there are very few OOT guests. Maybe a total of 10, who are all family. I'm still unsure if I should just suck it up and do a STD??

Nope, Not neccessary. Only send them out to guest that will have to make reservations..yknow out of town guests. But I dont think you need to send one out to everyone on ur guest list.

No its not neccessary, I have people coming in from Florida, also people that I havent been in contact with for years, thats why I did them..

i dont think its necessary..it is an added expense
however if you are having your wedding around a popular or holiday time..its always good to have them sent so that they wont make any plans when they know they have a wedding

the beginning of nov should be fine to not send them out, right?? who has plans then??
