How far in advance do you send out Save the Dates?

i'm doing mine at the end of the month (~ 12 months) just because our wedding is the Friday of Memorial Day weekend next year..

but non-holiday weddings send them out about 9 months ahead i think...

i just made an app with my photo who is taking the pic and doing our save-the-date we will be sending them out in June weddings is Feb

i am hoping to get mine out by the end of july or beginning of August which would be about 9 mths before the wedding

doing the same.
seems like enough time in advance and also not too early. after all its just a notification

Family in England, Jamaica, and the bridal party already received their STD in March.

The rest of OOT and local invitees will get theirs at the end of the summer.

I'm going to do mine a year in advance right after we take our engagement pictures. We have a lot of out of town guests so I want to make sure they have enough time to plan.

Probably a year before. We have a lot of OOT's so I want to make sure they book their hotels and make travel plans as early as possible.

Anyone know of any good companies to make them that are cheap or resonable ??

If you want magnet save the dates try MagnetStreet

They have some nice ones and I think they are reasonably priced.

Probably around nov. My dads side of the fam is all OOT. But i am booking the hotel block now b/c the hotel I am using is small.

I havent made the STD magnet yet, but i will be using magnetstreet. I have heard great things and they have really cute ideas!
