I've read a million different articles on when to send them, and they all say something different! We're getting married November 13, 2010 - a week and a half before Thanksgiving. Since it's such a busy time of year, and some people will be traveling for Thanksgiving, I feel like it might be a good idea to send them out a year in advance - is that ridiculous? TIA!
I would say around a year in advance. Especially if you have a decent amount of OOT guests.
I sent mine out a week after the 1-year mark. I think it's fine to send them out around the year mark, I just wouldn't do it any sooner than that.
My wedding date is the same as yours, and I'm planning on getting them out December 13 at the LATEST--- meaning I plan on actually sending them closer to a year before, but giving myself a little bit of leeway.
