Did you send them to just close family or did you send them to everyone??
Also, would it be strange to send two different styles?

we sent STDs to everyone we where 100% positive that we where inviting, friends & family. But we sent ours out 1 year before the wedding.

I'm having this same issue. Since I made them, I don't want to make more (I already have 100... and I'm keeping one!!!) I might make a few more just for politics sake, but I'm basically sending to almost everyone....
Adult kids who still live at home, even though they will most likely get their own invitation, are not getting a separate save the date. It is one per household.............

We sent ours to our A list only... We thought about doing 2 different styles bc I couldnt decide, but ended up with just 1.

oh, I just saw your second question. I ran out of ribbon and couldn't find the same one, so I sent out two different ribbons, also towards the end, I didn't have enough of the same paper, so I substituted the best I could... BUT I wish I would have made a simpler std for the less vips....

I know what you! We bought so many from our photographer with our e-pics on them. They are a little more $$ than what I want to spend on the others.
