How far in advance should you send out the 'Save the dates'. Anyone have any inexpensive websites to get them from?
We Just got engaged the week before Christmas and just booked our venue/church for 10/29 this year. So we haven't picked our photographer yet and when we do I don't wanna take our engagement pics until Spring (or whenever this snow goes away lol) So I'm just gonna send out generic ones without our picture.

we got engaged thanksgiving eve and i sent our save the dates out dec 15th but that was because i was being antsy

I got them at Vistaprint! 100 FOR FREEEEEEEEEEEEE
They are NOT the best looking ones.. but FOR FREE! =-) So we save that money! Fh n I Love them though!!
yeah i would def recommend vista print. i did magnets for half price (so they were 50 cents each for a large magnet). but if you do postcards you can get 100 free postcards and just use their designs and enter the info. so easy and worth it.
you can send them out whenever you want...we just sent our out for our august wedding...so I would say anytime 12-8 months in advance is good

We're getting married on 10/9 and we sent ours out right before Christmas. I wanted to get them out asap since its over a holiday weekend and a lot of our family are OOT guests
