Save the Dates?

Save the Dates?

So my fiance and I are on a strict budget of around 22k- we are realistic. We do have to have a list A and a List B for our guest list because we cannot afford more than 130 people which is our minimum at the hall. When sending out save the dates would you send them to both list a and list b or just list a? I'm so confused. If I need people from my list B- I want them to be able to come but they may not be able to because I didn't tell them to save the date!!!

What do I do?

We don't have an A and B list, but I would NOT send STDs to your B list. What if your entire A list could come and then you couldn't afford to invite anybody from your B list? There will still be a lot of time between sending out the invite and the wedding that people probably won't have anything planned -- especially if you're having a December wedding. It would be different in the summer, but you're probably safe for December.

I agree! Don't send your B-list STDs. Just send your invites out early! Maybe 4 to 3 months before the wedding.

I'm probably sending mine out early next fall, September or October, which is 9-10 months before my wedding.

Do NOT send STDs to B list. A STD is basically an unofficial invite so if you send it to your B list than don't have the room to invite them you're just asking for trouble. We'll be sending ours out about a year before the wedding
