How far in advance should I send out the Save the Dates?

Save The Dates?

I will be sending mine out at the 1 year mark, because many of my guests will require hotels, flights, and weekends off of work. I want to give them as much notice as possible but not too much time where it gets forgotten about.

Save The Dates?

It really could be at anytime. My cousin just sent hers out for an October wedding (8 months) and it is a destination wedding (Upstate) and when we get ours which will be in a week or so, we intend to send them out right away which would put us at 10 months in advance. We do have a decent amount of people from out of town so we figured the earlier the better.
