Save the Dates are SO ANNOYING -- I am doing them via AVERY LABELS online ... and entering everyones address is a pain. I even uploaded their addresses into the template BUT it still is annoying adjusting fonts, etc.
half done and uploaded will do the rest tomorrow....

Just finished most of ours tonight! I ended up just handwriting the names of our guests. I was too lazy to do the address labels and my printer is out of ink..lol. I did have clear address labels that I ordered for our mailing. The front looks simple but I added a special touch with our photo envelope seal on the back!

I did ours with Avery labels too..Luckily, I had most saved from our engagement party, but it was still tedious, fixing changed addresses, adding/deleting boyfriends/girlfriends, and making sure they all looked good.

It was very tedious and annoying. I was thinking about doing the calligraphy for the invitation envelopes myself but the thought of stuffing each envelope into the printer is killing me. I'm hoping professional calligraphy is not too expensive.

ugh. I go cross-eyed when I stare at the computer that long lol. That's why I hand addressed mine. They came out good (good enough) lol. I like to say, it puts that 'personal' touch on it. Because I personally sat there for hours doing it! hahahah but I still rather that over the Computer H*ll! The only good think is if you save the labels now, you will have them for future mailings (Thank Yous, Holiday Cards, Announcements etc) and it will be much easier to just print them them!

I am also dreading this part. I did clear avery labels for the engagement party which came out nice butttttt if they weren't fully dry before I put them on the envelopes it became a smudged mess and I had to toss each envelope and label. lol
I toyed with the idea of having someone do calligraphy as well. Not sure though.

Had an issue with the labels - addresses were a pain...and anyone with AND in their name..like Sandra would get changed to S&ra. It was absurd!

i am 100% paying the invitation place to stuff - stamp - and address each envelope for the wedding invitations...including caligraphy. I still have about 130 addresses to do tonight..then tmrw will be printing the labels...and then the joy of sending them out.

THIS! I have decent handwriting, and so does FH so we're not worrying about labels.
But I will be addressing the wedding invites much nicer.

I think I'm going to do digital calligraphy from weddingink.com. I tried three different times to do labels and I just don't have the patience. Digital Calligraphy isn't expensive and definitely saves me a lot of time lol
