Save the dates... question....

For those of you that have sent out STD magnets or are planning to, are you putting a note in them along with the magnets? I feel weird just sending a magnet in an envelope, although it will get the point across. I am not sure though what to do. Any suggestions? Also, I do not want to send an individual note to each and every person so I figured I would maybe type up a universal note to everyone but I dont know what it should say. Has anyone done this???

I didn't, but I put hotel information in it. I had alot of out of town guest! The magnet is kind of the note. But it's fine if you put one in ( :

i sent my magents with a brochure....The Official Guide to Our Wedding. worked out well, now i don't have to add map cards to the invites and hotel info, folks already have it.

we made our own cards and sent them with the magnets...we didnt wanttoo much info on the magnet so we put more of it on the card

Did anyone have any other ideas besides STD cards, magnets, or pencils?? I'm trying to be creative but can't think of anything different.

Would you want a pic of my FH and I on your fridge??? ahahahahahahahahah

We are going to send hotel information with our STD magnets-I think the magnet itself is informative enough but if you wanted to include a little note that would be fine too!

We sent out our magnets with a little card that FH designed on the computer along with another card that said we have a wedding website, that hotel rooms are booked for this place and also included a piece of paper for everyone to decorate for a scrapbook. We stuck it all in a mailing tube.

We got a lot of compliments on it because people were so surprised to see the tube in their mail!

We sent ours out around Christmas time, but I think that was too early!

The wedding etiquite book I bought says to send them at least 6 months before the wedding-we are going to send ours this month since we have A LOT of OOT guests
