Save the Dates--Too Late?????

I am totally behind!!! My wedding is October 12 (columbus day weekend) should i even bother sending out save the dates at this point??? Is it too late and pointless???? Need your input girls

There's plenty of time. I doubt most people have made plans for Oct. already.

I think you should do them. But I think you should do them soon. Lots of people make plans for weekends that they know will be a three day weekend. If you do not do them soon you might have lots of people have to say to your wedding because of prior engagements.

I think you have time too, but you should get moving. Columbus Day to me is one of those holidays that I start to tink about after the summer, so people probably don't have plans yet

I don't think it's too late but I would try to get them out as soon as possible.

I just sent mine out 2 weeks ago and my wedding is Oct. 4th...so I think you are fine!!!!!!!!

I also sent mine out 2 weeks ago for my September wedding - you have plenty of time - definetely send them out.

Are you kidding? You have TONS of time! I just sent my STDs out last month...and my wedding's in July!!

I don't think it is too late, but I would get t ehm out now. I sent mine out in January, but we only got engaged on 1/1/03.

I don't think it's too late. Since its a holiday weekend it make sense to send out save-the-dates. My wedding's on June 7 and we just sent ours out with hotel and travel information in mid-February.

How long before the wedding sh ould you send out STD? Then, when for the invitations? Do you really need to send out STDs?

NO! It's not too late! Depending on how many out of town guests you have! I sent mine out 3 weeks ago.

I'd still send them. I have gotten calls from people thanking us for sending them-especially for those out of town guests.
